Anti-Inflammatory Carrot Soup Recipe

Anti-inflammatory carrot soup


  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 large carrots
  • 1 small sweet potato
  • 1 can coconut milk (398ml)
  • 2 tablespoons ginger root
  • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Anti-inflammatory carrot soup: diced onion and garlicAdd diced white onion, minced garlic, and olive oil to a soup pot. Sautee for 10 minutes, or until onions are translucent, on medium heat.

Anti-inflammatory carrot soup: carrots and sweet potatoAdd sliced carrots and sweet potato to the soup pot and stir. Cook for 2 minutes.

Anti-inflammatory carrot soup: coconut milkAdd coconut milk and stir.

Anti-inflammatory carrot soup: tumericImmediately add minced ginger root, ground turmeric, ground black pepper, and salt.

Anti-inflammatory carrot soup: simmerSimmer on low heat for 30-45 minutes, or until carrots and sweet potato is very soft. Keep lid on soup pot to ensure that the liquid does not evaporate from the soup. Stir occasionally.

Anti-inflammatory carrot soup: blendWhen soup is cool, put in blender to create a smooth consistency.


Peanut butter recipe

Peanut butter


  • 2 cups blanched peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (or your preferred type of honey)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


Peanut butter: peanutsPlace peanuts on a baking tray that is lined with parchment paper. Roast in oven for 8 minutes at 350 degrees.

Peanut butter: roast peanutsLet the peanuts cool down. The roasting process draws the peanut oil to the surface and will improve the overall texture of the peanut butter.

Peanut butter: 1 minuteAdd raw honey and salt. Blend on high in food processor for a total of 4 minutes.
Appearance after blending for 1 minute.

Peanut butter: 2 minutes

Appearance after blending for 2 minutes.


Peanut butter: 3 minutes

Appearance after blending for 3 minutes.

Peanut butter: 4 minutesAppearance after blending for 4 minutes.Place in a glass jar with a lid. Store in refrigerator for up to one month.



Greek yogurt potato salad recipe

Greek yogurt potato salad


  • 5 white potatoes
  • 6 celery sticks
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • 7 baby dill pickles
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 5 tablespoons dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup back bacon
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese


Greek yogurt potato salad- potatoesChop white potatoes into bite-size pieces and place into a boiling pot of water. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, or until potatoes are soft. Strain out hot water and run under cold water under potatoes are cool. Set aside.

Greek yogurt potato salad- celery, pickles, green onionSlice celery sticks, green onions, and baby dill pickles. Mix together.

Greek yogurt potato salad- greek yogurt sauceCombine greek yogurt, dill pickle juice (from pickle jar), mustard, ground black pepper, and garlic powder.

Greek yogurt potato salad- bacon and cheddar cheeseDice back bacon and cook in frying pan on medium heat for 10 minutes. When cool, mix with shredded cheddar cheese.

Place all ingredients into a large serving bowl and mix together.


Applesauce Recipe

Applesauce Ingredients:

  • Apples
  • Cinnamon
  • White sugar (optional)

Applesauce Directions:

Fresh Apples

Select apples: Use fresh apples from the tree or purchase your favorite variety from the store.

Peeled Apple


Peel apples.

Chopped Apple

Roughly chop apples.

Cook in crock pot on high for 4 hours.

Mash or puree apples. When the applesauce is cool, use a potato masher or put in blender to puree.

Sprinkle cinnamon on top. If needed, add white sugar.

Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce Recipe

Tomato basil pasta sauce ingredients


  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium white onions
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 20 blanched tomatoes or 2 28-ounce cans of whole tomatoes
  • 12 white button mushrooms
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup Italian parsley
  • 5 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Tomato basil pasta sauce add TomatosAdd to pot: Olive oil, roughly chopped onions, and garlic. Sautee for 8 – 10 minutes.

Add to pot: 20 blanched tomatoes or 2 28-ounce cans of whole tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, grated carrots. Mix ingredients together.

Tomato basil pasta sauce add spiceAdd to pot: Basil leaves, Italian parsley, bay leaves, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients.

Tomato basil pasta sauce simmer

Simmer on low heat for 2 hours.

Remove bay leaves. When sauce is cool, put in blender and puree.

Tomato basil pasta sauce
